This past spring, Asian Connect Denver proudly joined forces with OCA – Asian Pacific American Advocates, Colorado Chapter at the Denver AAPI Fest 2025 to celebrate the vibrant diversity of Asian American and Pacific Islander communities in Colorado. Together, we created a shared space that embodied unity, cultural pride, and the spirit of collaboration.

The AAPI Fest brought together thousands to experience the richness of Asian cultures through performances, food, art, and storytelling. At our joint booth, attendees were invited to engage with interactive cultural displays, hands-on activities, and conversations about advocacy, education, and empowerment.

What We Shared:

• 🎶 Musical performances celebrating heritage through traditional instruments

• 🧧 Cultural crafts & storytelling led by AAPI elders

• 💬 Interactive advocacy resources with OCA Colorado on civic engagement

Highlights included traditional music performed by youth and adults from our cultural programs, intergenerational storytelling led by local elders, and historical artifacts that celebrated rising AAPI changemakers in our community. By working together with OCA Colorado, we amplified our shared commitment to civic engagement, cultural exchange, and community-driven impact.
