Once Upon a Bite: A Celebration of Culture Through Food & Music

On October 4, 2025, we’re bringing back the event that started it all—Once Upon a Bite.

Before Asian Connect Denver was an official organization, we were simply a group of passionate neighbors and friends who wanted to create a space for cultural exchange, connection, and community. That dream came alive at our very first gathering in 2023, where food, music, and storytelling sparked conversations that crossed generations and backgrounds.

Once Upon a Bite is more than just a meal—it’s a cross-cultural experience. Community members come together to share homemade dishes from their heritage, each one carrying personal stories of family, identity, and tradition. Alongside the food, we celebrate the next generation through live performances of music, crafts, moon-cake making, and friends, reminding us that culture is alive and ever-evolving.

This event planted the seeds of what is now Asian Connect Denver. Today, it continues to honor that same spirit of belonging…
